Linux Distro

This is a sub services of Kakikaku. Kakikaku wants Linux to be popular as a good alternative operating system in the world, especially in Indonesia. This service is only for Indonesian people. Indonesian people can get a Linux distribution from Kakikaku : cheap and easy.

Generally, Kakikaku can distribute many Linux distos, but Kakikaku prefers some Linux distros to distribute it. Kakikaku prefers a Linux distro that easy to install; has a nice graphic, has a complete software package (office, multimedia, graphic), and has a multimedia codec (mp3, ogg, MPG, AVI, WMV, RM, FLV, MOV, VCD DAT, DVD VOB, etc) that already installed by default.

Here's the Linux distros list that recommended by Kakikaku (order by recommended priority) :

• Wolvix
  Easy to use/install, Full Multimedia support, simple, complete software, Live CD/UFD.

You also can try other Linux distros (even though not too recommended by Kakikaku), such as :

• Ubuntu (1 CD)
  This distro is very popular today, but still not recommended by Kakikaku because it doesn't has a pre-installed multimedia codec
  
  
• Kanotix (1 CD)
  A Linux distro that based on Knoppix, Live CD, and recommended to install it on Hard Disk
  
  
• Linux XP (1 CD)
  Similar to Windows XP/98, can run some Windows programs (exe), free trial.

  A free version of Linspire, a linux distro that has Click n Run feature.
  
  
• Kuliax (1 CD)
  An Indonesian linux disto that focuses to education (especially IT).
